10.4 Ministries

While the ruling council, and particularly city leader hold the reins of control in a city, it is in the Ministries where the day-to-day control of the operations of a city lie. There are ten Ministries: Ambassador, War, Security, Chancellor, Steward, Treasurer, Trade, Culture, Development, and Research.

Each Minister may appoint as many aides as he or she likes. The commands associated with this ability are:

AIDES <office> : See the aides for a Ministry.
AIDE <person> TO <office> : Add an aide to a Ministry.
UNAIDE <person> FROM <office> : Remove an aide from a Ministry.
UNAIDE SELF FROM <office> : Remove yourself as an aide.

If, as a Minister, you wish to resign, the command is:

RESIGN FROM <ministry> : Resign as a Minister.

They can also create projects (see HELP PROJECTS) and edit the help files of the city (see HELP ORGHELP).

For powers associated with the Ministry itself, please see the relevant help file.
