8.1 Aaranu - Newbie ambassador
Commands -------- ASK AARANU JOIN <class|city> ASK AARANU BECOME LIVING ASK AARANU BECOME NIGHTSTALKER Directions ---------- PATH FIND AARANU Overview -------- Aaranu is the Ambassador of Esterport, and can assist newbies with various tasks. He can induct newbies into guilds; he can help the undead become living; and he can assist you in becoming a Nightstalker. Aaranu can be found in Esterport. If you have access to Portals (HELP PORTALS), the east exit will take you to Esterport. Alternatively, you can PATH FIND AARANU for precise directions to Aaranu's location. Joining a guild --------------- Once you have decided on a class you wish to wield, you can ASK AARANU JOIN <class>. Classes are tied to cities and guilds. Once you have graduated from novicehood, you will automatically join the guild of the class you have chosen. HELP GUILD for more information. Newbies can also REPICK CLASS to change their class. Note that this will also change which guild you will be filtered into. Joining a city -------------- Once you have decided on a city that accepts your guild, or visa versa, you can ASK AARANU JOIN <city> to be granted entry into it. Becoming living --------------- If you have ventured into the darker sides of Aetolia and become one of the undead, not all guilds will accept you. ASK AARANU BECOME LIVING and Aaranu will cure you of your undeath, allowing you to seek entry into the guilds. Nightstalkers ------------- If you wish to become a vampire, Aaranu can assist you in becoming a Nightstalker - one of the proto-vampires. Read HELP NIGHTSTALKERS for more information on this.
