12.1.1.5 Ylemfield Contention

A Ylemfield Contention is one of the possible contention types for a Major Focus. The following message indicates a Ylemfield Contention is beginning:
Sharp snaps burst through the air like the retort of fireworks, and thin, bright spikes of ylem surge upward, bursting from newly made cracks in reality. The mist of ylem thins, spiderweb lines of energy dancing through it as it clusters toward the leaks.

In this contention, the area will spawn dozens of minor foci that players must scramble to harvest. Unlike nodes, these won't leak ylem, but they will despawn after fifteen minutes.

This contention will end after fifteen minutes.
