9.2.2 Skill Ranks
Skillranks indicate a general level of competence in the skill. As you grow in power, the skillranks will be harder and harder to attain. Listed are all the skillranks, in order, and the lessons needed to advance to the next rank. Rank: The next available skillrank. Cost (Rank): The cost to advance from the prior rank to the given rank. Cost (Total): The cost to advance from 0% Inept (no lessons) to 0% of the given rank. Cost (Credits): The minimum cost, in credits, to advance from 0% Inept to the given rank. NOTE: Credits yield 6 lessons when converted. As such, this number is rounded UP. Ex 1: Areka has not invested any lessons into Vision. She wants the ability Recognition, which is at 0% Skilled. To get to Skilled, Areka will have to spend 171 lessons in the Vision skillset. Ex 2: Arbre is at 50% Gifted Survival but now wants to reach the next rank for WormAttack. The cost to get from Gifted to Expert is 149 lessons. Half of 149 is 74.5, so she will have to spend approximately 75 lessons to achieve Expert rank. The LEARNED command will produce a helpful table with your current lesson investments. You may LEARNED <skillset> to check your progress for that skillset alone.
