11.2.1 Bamathis, the Lost
Dissent and heresy have shadowed Bamathis since His inception, even as He fought to safeguard Sapience's future under the will of the Creator. But that purpose shattered during the Creators' Monomachy. The Celestine abandoned Him. His Siblings betrayed Him. The cost of duty was worse than death. In the aftermath, the Warlord was left without war, without purpose, without meaning - and it broke Him. What emerged next was not the same god. Grief, inconsolable. Bloodlust, insatiable. Once a being of discipline and direction, Bamathis now wages war not to protect but to expose. Not out of cruelty, but conviction. To Him, Strife is not destruction for its own sake - it simply is. War remains the only honest force left. The only true test of what is real. For what breaks under Strife if not falsehoods? The Warlord shuns the greater design and stands as its true challenger, rejecting the divine traditions of old. He does not need temples. He does not demand offerings. The battlefield is His altar, and all of existence is His warfront. And so, the Argent Legion does not worship. They are called to action embracing iconoclasm and to wage war, challenging all symbols of power. Their banners are made to strike through hollow authority as they reap truth from lie and expose what is real. Beneath the Warlord's gaze, nothing is sacred. Everything must be tested in war. Gods. Beliefs. Even existence itself. Where once stood a guardian for Creation, now rampages a Warlord in search of meaning.
