Ideas.

I have an idea... if Duiran doesn't own the forests, then why doesn't
the council stop using them as a shield for its own ass? Because
something like this happens every five years because you idiots feel the
need to abuse what you work with to defend what you talk out of.

You said in your post 715 that 'Haern has proclaimed that exterminating
is a foul act and that no patch of forest must ever remain
un-rejuvenated.'

I remember that back when I was in Haern's Order a big argument errupted
between ourselves and the Druids because Haern ordered the extermination
of many forest areas in order to 'balance' the cycle of life and death
in said forests. Hmmm.

All you have to do to 'give' Ulangi to Spirokai and end this is unenemy
his organization and leave Ulangi exterminated for awhile. Then, do not
re-enemy him or anyone else for attacking Duiranites in the forests if
that doesn't harm the forest itself. The fact that Duiran has
continuously lowered the level of their demands makes it obvious that
you've given up on the idea of a military victory, so you may as well
conceed to his demands instead of continuing to let the forest suffer as
you use it as a shield for your pride. If you're really so sincere,
you'll do this and sacrifice your pride to shield what you claim
responsibility for. Because if defending the forests is your original
goal, you've already lost yet again and are just being petty.

Spirokai was not the first person to get into something like this with
you because you overstepped your bounds and unless you become reasonable
he won't be the last. All Spirokai did to get enemied was exterminate
the unnatural and aggressive jungle in Tasur'ke in defense of the people
there. I was told that people doing this wouldn't be enemied, but I
guess Duiran thought they could make an example of Spirokai. Way to go,
Duiran.

The entire reason that Spirokai isn't accepting a "let's just forget
everything" resolution is because he is angry that you tried to make an
example out of him, and quite frankly I can't blame him for his anger.
So in closing, stop using the same dead arguments over and over and just
give in or accept and acknowledge your own corruption and be destroyed.

Grunts.

P.S. How much of the general populace is aware that the Benandanti
aren't democratically elected? Because if Duiran were to say become
democratic these problems would have surely caused a change in
leadership and led to a resolution by now. But of course, that is why
the current controlers of Esus won't let something as foul as democracy
in.
