'Warmongering'

I just wanted to note my amusement at you and your wifes constant
accusations of my warmongering. I haven't said anything to my citizens
about Duiran, going to war, what have you, except to say that they
should feel free to consider Duiranites in the city as no longer
law-protected. When I killed you last month, I was after Tenisa for a
separate reason and you simply got yourself involved. I don't have to
warmonger anything, Wylliam, you pick fights so often for no reason that
my citizens just don't -care- anymore. Most of them would have found a
reason to kill you whether you enemied the Syssin or not, you simply
gave them a more solid reason than ever.
To Duiran: A repeat of what I said above. I don't have to turn this into
a war with your city, I don't have to spew statements of how horridly
idiotic your leaders are: they provide the statements themselves, time
and again, giving people more and more reasons to hate you, and to
attack you. And when they decide to leave you alone, and only go after
the culprits? They find they can't. Your leaders cower in the Heartwood
while they watch you die from a distance, in a fight they started. They
watch the forest destroyed with the constant statement of 'it'll
regrow'. It'll regrow. So what's the point of Duiran? I lit fires,
nothing was done. Necromancers exterminate, nothing is done. Rogue
forestals decide NOT to do anything against the wilds, and your leaders
INSTIGATE them into doing damage. Such is the work of your leaders.
I don't care if I destroy you all now, or later. Eventually each of you
will find your time at an end to my hands. But if you want to delay it?
Look at what causes your deaths, what speeds you towards extinction:
Wylliam, Fanico, and the rest of your leaders who refuse to raise their
voice against foolish acts. The ones who PUSH you into battle and stand
at the back. But alas, that's your choice.
Have fun with the fights started by your own leaders. I'll have fun
watching as they hide while your bloody corpses are left splayed across
the landscape, head removed.
