Speculations

Well.
I must say that I am not bemused by the words that have been exchanged
thus far. Certainly men and women of such statute are entitled to their
debates, though I am quite sad as to the amount of gold that must have
been collected in public posts.
Regardless, I offer my own gold and my own opinion. Do not confuse my
word with the voice of my City, or my guild. I represent myself alone
with this missive;
I was there when word first filtered into the Unity in Life regarding
the robbery. I was there with my sister when she came into the realm and
panicked about the guild situation. I was there to see her perk up when
she saw our home had not lost hope in their funds, and learned quickly
from their mistakes. I was also there silently cursing Duiran for taking
the matter away from the hands of the Sentinels without speaking to
-any- Sentinel authority.
I am not at all saying that I don't agree with their actions to some
extent. However, I have watched syssin walk through cities and not cause
a peep. I have also seen forestals set the wilds on fire and slay former
guild mates. It is cruel and inherantly barbaric to stereotype each
Sentinel as snuggly, or each Syssin as artficiers. There is by no means
a reason to enemy truely uninvolved people in a battle that hasn't even
got a culprit we can name.
On the other hand, I am confused about the situation regarding the
stealing at all. I personally have been commanded by a Syssin. Syssin
cannot perform this work without first snapping in front of you. Now,
Perhaps the Sentinel who took the gold is completely innocent, but it is
hardly a trivial matter as to wether or not it is a Syssin, if she was
paying even the smallest amount of attention. I would turn my eyes from
the syssin and direct attention towards Telepathic mind commanders, as
that skill can be silent and can be done from a distance.
These are just my sights. I don't mean to at all accuse the Duiran
Council of idiocy. However, extreme measures are only meant as the
result of extreme clause. Perhaps speaking to the Sentinels regarding
situations would be wise before drastically defending them in the
future.
Please try to save your gold in responding to me. Letters and messages
are much more economic then this newsboard.
In Hope,
