Duiran and Syssin

Time and time again, I have read these posts with slight amuzement. I
have been accussed of warmongering against Spinesreach, attempting to
create unrest with allies of Duiran to raid Spinesreach, and all sorts
of ridlicous accusations. None of them are true. I have never attacked
Spinesreach. I did try to fight for Tasur'ke but since that time haven't
even been in the village often. I have no interest in the city at all.
It is infested with undead, that I have no desire to associate with, and
as far as I'm concerned can rot there.

But I do care about them harbouring criminals and allowing their members
to assult other people, steal, and kill within Spinesreach, such as the
recent acts of Clio (as an example). When allies of this sentinel went
up there to try to rescue the youngster, they were murdered and so was
she, after all her items where stolen by Clio.

Now, the reason syssin are enemied to Duiran is simple, one of them used
methods only a syssin could use to steal within Eleusis, a village that
houses both guilds. Not one attempt but three where made, and one was
successful. Unlike what many are trying to claim, it was no plot by a
corrupt sentinel, it was not done by any rogue syssin, it was done by a
guilded syssin. A syssin with ties to Caboose, a known enemy to the
wilds.

Now, we only wanted to enemy the true culprit of this hideous crimes.
But he or she kept their identify hidden, therefore our only course of
action is not to allow any Syssin within the confines of Eleusis or
Heartwood to better protect the defenders of the wilds. This is their
home, home of their guilds, and we simply do not want them there. If the
Syssin guild can't at least take some responsiblity for their guild,
then we have no choice. This isn't an act of war on Spinesreach, nor has
any syssin been attacked other then the usual troublemakers.

Rawyn was enemied as a suspect security risk. Now he choose to burn,
there was no threat on his life, untill he did. The reality of situation
is he created his problems, the reality is he has threatened to do this
before now a few times. So much so, he was put on probation for his
threats to the wilds while in the Sentinels.

But fires, in of itself is no threat to the wilds, it will grow, and
maybe even stronger. Duiran finds these threats empty, and simply will
ignore his attempt to threaten us to do his will.

Clio, has taken it upon herself to terrorize the young of the forestal
guilds, to steal from them, harass them and make a general nuisance of
herself. A pitty that the syssin can't control their own members from
such acts. Most other guilds would had put a stop to such hideious acts
on those that have done no wrong to anyone. But then again this only
demonstrates why Duiran choose to take the actions it has taken. Simply
put, Syssin aren't welcome within Eleusis, if we could only enemy to the
council grounds, we would, but we can't.

Yet, again and I emphasis these words, no syssin but Exodus, Clio, and a
few others that like to attack others for hardly any reason have been
bothered. Not that Exodus himself does not do this, but he is ultimately
responsible for his guild, yet refuses to take that responbilty.

As for proof to a syssin committing these crimes? Duiran has tested this
extensively in last few months, and only a syssin could have committed
these crimes of theft from the Beaver depository in Eleusis. If any are
curious of the tests or how it was done, please let me know, I'll be
glad to share the results and how they were accomplished. My only regret
is after the second attempt, with Ned, I didn't act more swiftly to
prevent it from happening. I do not regret the actions I have taken to
ensure those within Eleusis and Heartwood have peace.

This again is not an act of war, regardless what Vasilus has tried to
tell you. He's simply looking for a scapegoat to encourage more to his
warmongering.
