The spirits were and should still be safely contained within the totem
to do their work from the totem, that is how it was meant to be however
another sent their priestess into Tasur'ke to preach against the wilds
and its "evils" and with the aide of Ikne enticed a beaver to destroy
the totem. Which as Lord Haern pointed out to us was not possible for
any normal beaver to do at that point, the spirits attacking the people
in Tasur'ke is purely a result of shortsightedness and continued
attempts to reverse what was done. It failed, and now the people of
Tasur'ke are faced with a danger that we did not bring to them.
