Also, my betrayal, and my condolances

Procell,
As with Catharina, I am certain that my name is not one that you utter
without contempt. Also, as with Catharina, it is fully deserved. For I
betrayed you and your House, much as I did Bahir'an. I gathered your
trust, you put me into a place of influence and power within your House.
You gave me keys to your House, and granted me a home for a time.

But things did not stay normal. I approached those that were in Bahir'an
and became a spy for them in Bouchard, as to get in their good graces,
so that I might return to them. After a time, though, I got caught up in
the thrill of betrayal. Having tasted the forbidden fruit and knowing
its pleasures, I desired more. I came to you and said that I was a spy
for Bahir'an, at least so they thought. I claimed that I truly meant to
be a spy for Bouchard, playing Bahir'an in an attempt to give Bouchard
the upper hand. I became wrapped up in the lust of the situation, and I
thought of myself a spider, dangling in the middle of a web, controlling
all those around me, without detection. You eventually caught on to the
scent of my betrayal, and when you mended the situation with Bahir'an,
you punished me...dearly. Every time I see the scar on my chest, I
remember...

Again, truthfully, I come to you on Zoharim's wish, so that I might
swear fealty to him and Ve'kahi, just as I did with Catharina. I
apologize for my transgressions, for I know of their weight. Betrayal is
no longer a dish I wish to partake, for it is not worth the
consequences.

In Blood,
Tetchta
