Mankind has been killing animals since the beginning of time for various
reason, be it food, to sell their hides, to train their combat power or
for entertainment. Coming from someone whose guildpatron propadanzises
the value of hunting and slaying of animals, or humanoids, in itself, I
find that highly peculiar to judge others. I hope you don't mind if call
you a hypocrite.
As for the pit in Spinesreach, it has been there forever and is a firm
part of the cities social life. People from all over the realm come to
Spinesreach to see it, it is a gathering point for many, be it friends,
lovers or families that enjoy an evening there. I see no reason to break
with this long-established tradition just because you, and outsider,
doesn't like it.
