For many years, I have heard how Spinesreach has worked
with the wilds to ensure that animals and nature itself isn't
harmed. I was told this many many times, by people citizens of
the city. Most of it, I didn't pay mind to, I rarely even go into
cities.

But then I come to find that behind the inn in Spinesreach
is a fighting pit. A pit where animals are made to battle and
specators watch and wager on it. This happens each midnight.
Each midnight more animals are forced to battle to the death
so the peasants and farmers can have entertainment.

I suppose building a unversity, statues and knocking down
walls are much more important then the educating of these farmers
of the wrong they are doing. When asked about the pit, we
were told that it has always been there. That Spinesreach didn't
build it. So, I guess that makes it alright?

When I asked Karim of it, why they couldn't fill in one pit, I got
no answer. So, I'm taking it public. How can spinesreach that
has built a Unversity of enlightment, fought for Mhun's, built
statues, can't fill in one pit and educate their farmers?
How is it this city can't seem to do one simple thing yet do
so many others? Apparently they knew it was there, it wasn't
a secret. But yet it's remained for many many years. Longer
then I was born.

So my question remains, why is it still there? Why hasn't
the pit been filled in and the farmers made to stop the abuse
of these creatures? Spinesreach may not had built it, but
they have the ability to make it stop.
