Since Wylliam is part of a guild devoted to the God of the Hunt, and
since that guild itself is filled with hunters, I would assume he
doesn't need you lecturing -him- on mankind's natural behavior of
survival. You said this...
"Mankind has been killing animals since the beginning of time for
various reason, be it food, to sell their hides, to train their combat
power or for entertainment."
I don't see how training animals for combat power is killing said
animals, as typically one doesn't kill their own creatures of combat in
order to train them...maybe I'm wrong? You also don't seem to understand
the aspects of Haern's path. I don't consider myself an expert, but I am
of the understanding that he is the Lord of the Hunt, not Lord of
killing stuff. Hunt doesn't always mean killing your quarrel. But, even
if Wylliam was following a god who supported the hunting and slaying of
animals and humanoids, that would be purely out of necessity and I'm
sure he would honour the creature in whatever way he and his
guildmembers know how. There is a slight difference between that and
torturing animals in an unnatural way to train them for a pit fight with
other tortured animals.
You, my fellow, don't know what you're talking about.
As for the other bit you wrote...I do hope you aren't serious when you
say that the pit fighting between brutalized animals is a firm part of
Spinesreach's social life. I've not met a single pair of lovers who
would travel to Spinesreach for these cruel fights, and it's certainly
not something I'd expect from a people who are supposed to be civilized.
You see no reason to stop these horrible fights because you are
interested in the brutalizing of animals and because you are willing to
offer entertainment for crowds of people at these animals' expense.
That's what we call immoral.
I'm beginning to wonder...did you even speak with your city on this
issue before posting? Likely not.
...and...what does propadanzises mean? I'm sorry I just...don't
understand what you're trying to say.
