Hello, Aetolians.
Hello, Jaeharn.
Your post, i'm afried, is either ever so terribly complicated beyond
comprehension for my simplistic mortal mind, or just full of holes and a
poor attempt at propoganda. Thats the basic thesis this quick response
is showing. Read and understand.
As Guildmaster of the Magi, i am in control of the Enchantment skillset,
more or less. This means that while we, the Magi, choose to give the
Aetolians our services at a price, and even discounted it recently, it
does not mean that we must. If you get yourself enemied to the Magi
Guild, you would find a hard time getting a worry stone, much less a
full array of our creations. As simple as that, the Druids and the
Sentinels control the Concoctions skillset to a degree. Thier act is not
one of hostility. It is a well mesured, rational one. I will do my best
to explain as well as my, once again, simplistic mortal mind, allows.
Any person, be they simplistic, mortal, or possessing anything above the
intellegence of the common slug will understand that a herb ban on the
fighters currently opposing Nature alone will not work. Aetolia is too
diverse and they can easly send a little unknown young soul to purchuse
thier goods and give him 100 gold for his trouble. Therefor, anything
short of a wide ban means the Guilds are supplying thier enemies. Would
you do that? Prehaps you would, in your supernatural intellegence due to
motives and a superb annalytical thought process which we do not
possess. However, us mortals are not as dumb to do such a thing. Err.
Smart.
In response to your seemingly childish annalysis of the concept of
'working against nature' which no doubt holds hidden depthes, as my
high-school senior book said about all those quiet little people who sat
to the corner and picked thier nose, i will try and give my stupid
mortal approach to the matter.
First of all, i dont agree with what Haern is doing right now. But he is
the God of Nature. And i heard him say one thing i agree with. 'I will
not argue My teachings to someone who hasnt even made the effort to
learn of them.' Being the God of the Hunt, which is a part of nature, as
any common person who has a basic grasp of the -natural- food chain will
tell you, means killing more then the odd pixie and imp. So the attempt
at depicting our Druid and Sentinel fellows as enemies to nature
themselves because they take thier role in it fails miserably. Being an
enemy to nature, according to my limited grasp, as i am merely a Gardner
of Duiran, alabit a proud one, means working against the -NATURAL- order
of things. Such things as exterminations count.
Theres much more that can easily be picked apart and tossed aside with
ease in that post. But i leave you to ponder these two simple matters
first. And yes. I'm sure you can kill most of us in one on one combat.
Thats wounderfull. It really is. I'm sure it grants your life meaning.
But trying to persuade the rest of Aetolia to follow... at least make
your propoganda worthwhile, please. Respect the stupid mortals, they
might not be as simple as you think if you aim that low.
On an off note, i find your attempts at declaring yourself to work for
cooperation beetwin mortals and the undead amusing at the most,
considering the arrogant tone that waftes from your post by the gallon,
or at least seems to. I could be wrong about this. It's not a major
point, however. The previous two are. G'day.
