Light, it seems, dares to judge. The sun chooses who to nourish and who
to burn, it is exclusive and therefore judgemental. After the passing of
the sun, the first flush of starlight is the kiss with which the Creator
welcomes ALL of his creation into His world. Darkness does not judge.
The coming of the darkness has been a threat to the realm since the
folly of Yrtez , it is the legacy from the greed of our forebears. It is
inevitable and no debate about which is better will change the rising
tide.

I do not pretend to have any further stake in this realm. My brief time
here of late has sapped my energies and I find more comfort in the soil.
But I have seen the world from both sides of the argument and I offer my
parting wisdom. The debate about light and dark has distracted too many
from their true paths. It has been an excuse to wave rapiers and flex
muscles and it has led to stagnation in all corners of the realm. If
those of the darkness choose to unite and complete what Belladona failed
to, then all should either embrace the possibilities or embrace the
chance to make a stand.

Whichever you choose, do not fail your calling.
