Just as arguments about the light and darkness fly back and forth, some
weak and some strong, yet never being resolved, the struggle of Light
attempting to force back the Darkness will never be resolved. The
natural order of things is for a kind of balance to be reached. It
shifts over the years, but it may be depended upon.

The current struggle may seem important to many of you, perhaps even
most of you, but I assure you that its importance in the greater scheme
of life is miniscule. By all means fight to improve the lives of
yourselves by whatever standards you judge a "good" life to be. If,
however, you seek to understand more about the concept upon which I
speak - then you should look toward Haern, who is neither of the Light
nor of the Darkness, yet who epitomises a way of life that can triumph,
for none may oppose a thing dependant only upon the choice of a free
man.

If, that is, you're wise enough to understand how, and strong enough to
grasp it by the horns and take it.
