What inane silliness is this request for an Aetolian constitution? There
are many constitutions in Aetolia. If you want a constitution so bad, I
recommend that you join a city or a guild. Some clans even have them.

You complain that you want a declaration of all Aetolians to have equal
rights. Well, as Taryn so aptly put it, rights are an illusion.

All Aetolians are not equal. No amount of wishing it will change that.
Why stop at begging the gods for a constitution? Why not ask for
everyone to be granted 10000 credits so that we will all be equal
economically? Why not ask that everyone be granted full knowledge of all
skill sets so that we will all be equal in knowledge?

However, it could be argued that we all here have the 'right' of freedom
to choose how we live our lives. If there is any 'right' at all, that is
the only one.

The deities will never force a 'constitution' on the people here because
we all have the freedom to live our lives as we choose.

Choice is something that you seem to not understand. Every decision that
we make in this life has consequences.

info here you had truly studied the gods, you would see that there is a
cycle to everything. Lord Haern teaches us of the cycle of birth and
death. The Book of Destruction says this about the Way of Destruction,
'The new shall rise from the ashes of the old and the dead shall nourish
the young.'
Lady Lleis also teaches us of the cycle of life in the Path of Winter.
This path teaches us that, 'As the soul fades away, a spark settles
within it, and the new soul springs forth from it into a Rhapsody of the
seasons.' Life is born, grows, bears fruit, and dies again in the
endless wheel of Renewal.
Lady Slyphe also teaches us how life begins anew in the death of the old
through the Path of Erosion.

What you seem to have failed to realize is that the choice you are
making by the path which you are living your life has arrested this
natural cycle of life and death. The very nature of the virus of
corruption that invades or will invade your very being will unnaturally
arrest the normal decay of your body. The deity that best embodies your
desired state is Lady Chakrasul for she is the embodiment of corruption.

info here you do not relish the inevitable outcome of the path that you
are on, I highly suggest that you rethink your choices before you accept
that evil and corrupt virus, the demon as Eshu calls it, into your
being. But, be assured, the choice is yours and you must exist with the
consequences of that choice. Do not rant at others because you are
unhappy about the outcome. I suggest you reread posts 2334 and 2336.

Finally, you stated, 'As a mere Thrall, who strives for the union to the
Night but who is still mortal, i sic beg to see all Aetolians as equal
and free-willed, and thus able of both good and evil according to their
inner spirits.' I assure you that all Aetolians ARE ALREADY equal in
their free will to choose whether they will be good or evil. Do not
blame those of the good if you choose evil. Good and evil will always be
at war.
