Aetolians

An Aetolian not only includes those of us who join guilds and seek
skills, but also those who are targeted for "experience". This killing
may or may not be justified and that isn't my point. The citizens of
Shastaan and Moghedu are the examples that come to my mind most readily,
yet they are but one example. Here is something that confuses me a
little, but perhaps I am the only one. I have noticed that there are
quite a lot of people that would differentiate between the Mhuns who
reside in Moghedu and a Mhun that happens to be a guildmate. I'm sure
they both enjoy their lunches everyday, and some have families just like
us. What is the difference between an Atavian who spends all of his days
in a city, hardly ever seeing the outside world, and a fisherman in
Jaru? What is the difference? Anytime anyone takes a stand to defend a
community that is being victimized by Consanguine and Luminaries alike I
see a flurry of what seem to me to be unclear justifications. They may
be sound, and I would like to be able to comprehend them. So please, all
of those who enjoy killing the occasional gnome boy and his pet iguana,
a Shastaan woman in her hut, or a mhun miner enjoying his lunch explain
your reasoning to me.

To Lord Shaman Taryn:
I tend to agree with you about rights being illusory, but governments
are real after they are created by Aetolians and laws are real after
being created by governments. Like you said, we may reap whatever
consequences we desire.

To the dawn
Hail Lord Rahn
