Rights

Thrall Gahren Nachzeher,

I, obviously, am not an Immortal, but I hope that my response will not
be unwelcome. I believe the issue which you raise is one which a number
of people share, so hopefully I will be able to show you another
perspective on the issue.

Rights are an illusion and, bluntly, do not exist. Your existence is not
reason enough for you to be guaranteed any rights or privileges by
anyone. The same holds for all mortals, and perhaps even Immortals.

However, you have the ability to do whatever you like. You could begin
preaching about the evils of being a mhun, if you like. The only catch
is that you must be able to accept the consequences for it. Similarly, I
could choose to destroy every forest on Sapience for no particular
reason. There is nothing stopping me. But I must be able to accept the
consequences for that. To come straight to the point, any person could
begin a campaign against Vampires, rogue or otherwise, for any reason
they choose. If they can accept the consequences.

So far, it appears that those people have been able to accept the
consequences. If you would like to change anything, then you need to
find a way to make the consequences too difficult for your opponents to
bear.

insomnia hope that this has been enlightening for you. I will gladly
welcome any further communication from you or anyone on this topic.

Lord Shaman Taryn

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Variach, in the year 136 MA.
