message and I will be pleased to meet with you and negotiate.

Just a reminder regarding negotiation. It means that one party makes an
offer, and then the other party evaluates the value, and makes a counter
offer. Then both parties discuss the relative merits and values. Then
the process starts again, hopefully culminating in an agreement that
both parties are able to accept.

I would add that I would much prefer speaking with Daelar in this
negotiation, as I am more convinced of his dedication to Ashtan than I
am individuals who only joined the city shortly after war was declared.
I would think the citizens of Ashtan would feel similarly.
