the Ruins

First off, never call me out. There is no need.
In truth, much can be learned from the Past. Much within the revelations
of the future lay in the past. At the same time, much of the future
coheres to the past and uses the past as the stepping stone to rebirth
and growing.
How is one to say that none of these people have learned from the past?
How is one to say they will stop doing such? The process of rebirth
doesn't happen over night, and in such a process one will adhere to
learning everything within... to its deepest insight and potential.
Learning isn't always pleasant toll. If it takes a big ball of fire to
hit them again, I'm sure they'll learn. Take the recent happenings of
the Elder Trees, and Thera. They are not predestined to failure, they
can learn from the past and grow from it. As can anyone, of any race.
They are not destroying a mystery, they are not destroying history. The
are taking a mystery, and drawing on it with their inspiration to
fulfill a dream, or a passion. They themselves will stumble onto a
myriad of questions that no other could answer save themselves.
To say they will succeed would be wrong of me. To say they will fail is
as wrong as to say they will succeed. They have the potential, and the
passion, the awe of Mystery. Let them learn from it, you nor I could
tell them they are right or wrong. Only one of us will pull up arms,
while the other studies and learns.
As anyone knows, one must learn of what they are doing before doing it.
The same is that one must know the aspects of the past within, before
they enter into the future. The experiment would never take over night,
and it would take a lot of planning, and inspiration. I do not support
it, nor am I against it. Rather... I stand in observance, as they begin
reach the inspiration of the awe of a Mystery that they seek to acquaint
themselves with.
