Not me?

Myslani

Should the trees decide to march upon Ashtan, my loyalties would be
obvious. I care not what others may say about me not having solid
morals. I do have solid morals, and it takes a LOT of effort to stand by
them. I would not order the Novitiates and Necromancers to attack.
Should the aformentioned march take place.

But why would they? With me being a leader of Ashtan, I can ensure that
the city causes as little harm to the forest as possible. I've already
had this argument with a citizen, Myslani, I don't want to have it
again.

My Public, scathing remarks for them? Have you tried to talk to the
Druids, Sentinels and Duiran about altering herb laws? I suggested new
ones to them, that allowed plants to stay at an acceptable minimum which
allowed animals to still be able to survive. All I got in return
was...nothing. Not a single tell, message, letter. Nothing. Perhaps you
can see why I take a stand against it? Why I try and create an
organisation that does things and takes on new ideas.

Here's my idea, just to make it public. It was fairly simple and
wouldn't be that hard to follow or to enforce, but it seems no one, bar
myself, is willing to abide by it. Don't harvest below 10 for a
perrenial plant (that is Lobelia, Cohosh, Bellwort, Kuzu, Skullcap,
Echinacea, Ginger, Ginseng, Goldenseal, Lady's Slipper, Kelp, etc) and 5
for an annual plant (Myrrh, Elm, Kola, Ash, etc), though I would prefer
15 and 10 respectively for each.

You would think that such a simple law (with the other laws like No
harvesting within a Divine's temple, no harvesting in a Druid's grove)
would be readily acceptable no?

You speak of Effort, Myslani. I have gone to every effort to get my
point across, and to try and get people more active in protecting the
forests. A bit of a lost cause really, though I will continue to fight
for it.

I am sick of people thinking that my morals are not solid. They are. The
people that are important know what my loyalties are. Just as they know
what I would do should certain circumstances occur.

Inaction is as bad as action in some circumstances. Thus the reason I
made the Keepers. Thus the reason I left the Druids many years ago.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Ios, in the year 114 MA.
