Now that Lady Chakrasul has relayed a glance at Her realm, I pray that
all of you who read the news and use your mind to analyze the posts
before moving on will stand hearty against the shrouded darkening of the
heart that comes with Corruption. As She says, your choice to embrace
Corruption is an act of Free Will, perhaps one of the greatest gifts
given to us by the Celestine. It may be true that the potential for
Corruption lies within every mortal heart as does the potential for
Honor, Light, and a limitless myriad of other possible futures.
She wishes for us all to accept our flaws and wallow in them, giving in
to the cruder and baser natures of existence in order to gratify
ourselves. She seems to be masterfuyl at throwing parties, which makes
sense as it is easier to control others if they are complacent and
willing to please Her as She pleases them. I give caution to Her ORder,
however, as your endless party may cloud your senses with lusts and
fantasies, leaving you a subservient pawn to your Queen. IF this is the
apex of your quests in life, then so be it. Wallow in it.
I warn all of you out there though, who may read HEr post and believe
that She holds Paradise with only your willing submission. I know many
have the dream of the snake that bites your leg, and you feel sleepy and
warm and have no desire to fight. That is the Touch of Corruption. It is
painless and perhaps even pleasant, but it is a potent infection that
will spread through your spirit quickly and efficiently. Before you know
it, you will be acting in Corruption everyday, as it becomes your
reality, your world view.
There is an alternative to submitting to Corruption. IT is true that in
this Dark Age , that the powers of Darkness beckon you in many ways and
forms, but you may always turn your cheek to it and say no. Instead of
embracing the darker aspects of yourself, acknowledge them and move on.
Move beyond your urges to higher plateaus of existence. Do not mistake
me and think you can turn yourself away from Corruption entirely. Those
who hold hardest against it fall quickest should they fall at all. You
know who you are better than I and you know your limits and your desires
here.
My warning lies with the thought that Chakrasul's infection lies in some
menacing, overbearing creature. Not at all. In fact, it is much more
subtle and devious. IT may be within the next shot you slam, the next
needless slaying you perform, or the next person you seek to dominate.
She uses your weaknesses against you, so that when you join , you feel a
sense of elation as your hidden weaknesses become treasured merits in
Her eyes. Stand tall and proud against this most invasive and secret of
intrusions. Bathe your seeds in the Light of Right Action. You know in
your heart what is right and what is wrong. Free Will and Choice will be
your sword and shield against Corruption, first and foremost
