Lady Chakrasul,
First and foremost, I apologise for the disrespect I showed the
Divinities of the realm, it was never my intention to disrespect the
natures or beings of the Divine. That at least one other was offended by
my remarks makes me consider the punishment fair and fitting, since I
hold them in the utmost respect.
I thank you for taking the time to help us to understand your realm and
aspect, and to provide us with insight into the nature of the darkness
you bring to our realm. You imply in your post that, we who do not
nourish the seeds you say are in us are neutral and useless, weak and
vacilliating, without passion. I would have to disagree however, for I
see the opposite in those who have chosen to not give in to their baser
natures that are represented by those seeds. Indeed those that do
nourish those seeds seem to, when it comes to moral and spiritual
development, be the ones who are weak, and those who do not allow those
impulses to govern them, are the ones who are strong. It seems like
useless sophistry to try and label evil as good, and weakness as
strength
Do I show neutrality in opposing corruption, in taking a stance against
the darkness and degeneration of character that it represents to me? Do
I show weakness, in fighting in the best way I can against the decay and
destruction that it's coming to these shores has caused?
Not that I would ever question the ways of the Divine, but I am confused
and disturbed by the contradictions evident between the past, and your
present words. It was from that evidence and my limited perception of
what had taken place, that I based my argument and opposition upon.
Being but a humble scholar and philosopher, given overly much to
reading, and trying to instill discipline and respect for others in the
students and novices of my guild, and teach them about balance and
equilibrium, I suppose I may have overreacted, and crossed the
boundaries of proper respect and manners. Sometimes, even a bookworm
such as I may become overly passionate, and speak out of turn, for that,
I do again, humbly apologise.
In service to Life and Balance,
