Yes, we did fail to prevent the coming of Spinesreach - we did fail to
prevent the threat that newest of cities poses to the natural world.
That we admit and acknowledge. That you stated.

What you did not state however, is how this has anything at all to do
with your previous claims about caring for the ecosystems around
Shastaan. Indeed, your post was a clever redirection of focus from one
topic to another.

While we are on the topic however - Haern's image is not "kill, kill,
kill" - though why that should bother you when you claimed in your first
post that you were culling fishermen to save the fish, I don't know. It
seems that you *are* in fact a hypocrite in every sense of the word.

In short, leave assessment of ecosystems to those that truly care for
it. You've already stated both that you do not, -and- that you intend to
kill fishermen to save it. Your argument is flawed and contradicts
itself. It means you're either insane, or you have a different agenda to
the one you claim.
