Addressed to: Everyone
All but two of the months of the year have been named for a God or
Goddess. In fact, at the time of our calendar's creation, each deity had
his or her month. Now, however, I think it's time to honor Lord Rahn,
who ascended during some of our lifetimes, by recognizing the month of
Rahnis.
The month of Midsummer is the time of year when the sun burns hottest
and brightest. It is also the beginning or conclusion of a landmarking
season, an event which holds great significance to many followers of the
Lord of Fire. What better month to be renamed Rahnis in His honor?
Whether you follow Rahn's path or respect him only as one of the deities
of our world, I ask you to honor Him by using the month's new name.
May you all enjoy the first day of the first Rahnis!
Faithfully,
Arxalant Keian
