I agree with you wholeheartedly that all the divine regardless of their
"spheres of influence" have knowledge far surpassing my own, upon
everything, including nature.
But then I did not question the sincerity or intellect of the divine,
when you look at the honours of the gods, it claims they are older than
the counting of time, this leads me to believe that as with the world
itself, two hundred years could be as two seconds to Them.
Yet in Their infinite wisdom They know the need mankind and animals have
upon the fertility of the earth, this is why I believe, along with a
love of nature itself, these Gods take an interest in preserving and
helping nature, perhaps I am wrong, I do not presume to know the
thoughts of the Gods and can only guess, but I should imagine that They
also know that given time the earth will heal itself from anything we
mortals throw at it.
What I do question is -your- work, and -your- motivations, I do not even
question the work of Duiran, it helps the earth to heal no doubt, and
there are those who join that organisation purely because they do not
wish to the see the earth hurt, this is why I help with forest fires
myself. I do however question the pretence under which you do it. It is
your "hurt feelings will recover, but perhaps a hurt nature will not?"
attitude that so annoys me, nature can exist and heal without your help,
it will simply take longer, the time it takes matters to you, the
person, I doubt the world itself overly minds.
