Spheres of Influence

On the matter of the Divine having Spheres of Influence, and of Duiran
carrying out the will of Haern and Slyphe. It should be noted that
Duiran sings a vastly different tune than the Hunter does, at the very
least. I'll admit I do not know much of the Lady Slyphe at all.

When one speaks about the things that harm Nature and the Rhythm, it has
been said by Benandanti that exterminating forests is outside the
Rhythm, unnatural, and banned. The Hunter, on the other hand, had
disfavored me for supposedly telling Him what his Sphere encompassed,
and then referred to our abilities as those of Death and Decay, and most
definately within His Sphere.

What does all this mean? I am biased. My interpretation leads me to the
hypothesis that Duiran does whatever THEY believe is best for them, and
not for Nature, because I can surely not argue with Lord Haern's
insistence via Eternal Disfavor that things that you have declared
illegal are of natural forces.

I could be wrong. I am only mortal. Mayhap it is merely a
miscommunication between Lord Haern and the Duiran Council, an
indication that the relationship between the Divine Patrons of Duiran
and the council itself is in desperate need of repair.

Once Duiran becomes capable of making sound decisions based on Natural
preservation and movement toward the future as they so nobly claim, I
shall owe them a much-deserved apology. Until then, my opinion that the
council's decisions are based upon personal prejudices, material greed,
and quests for power shall stand.
