Ghost

The years blow by
like a memory

Burned to ash
Flung to sea and sand

The Ghost of a feeling
Dissasembles before my eyes

The shape of a shape of a shape
Of a face

Revolves

I could feel you
Long before I knew you again

You are here
You were always here
And you always will be

Carving splintered words into the floor
Playing broken notes
Too soft to be heard by your ghosts
Waiting
Watching

Knowing

The roar of the wind
Shatters the silence of the years between us

The promise was broken
Shattered beyond the ghost of recognition

Yet I feel you here
You will always be here

Waiting, until the time is right.

For the ghost who took a chance, and told me who she was,
Sir Fortenrus Kal'Adun

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Lanosian, in the year 131 MA.
