A Calm Mind

The Wind shifting slowly, blowing a pleasant breeze,
Lounging about lazily, leaning upon your knees.

Tending to a garden, of tulips, a bright blue,

And these things bestow a calm mind upon you.

The Sun shines warmly, granting the plants a life,
Erasing the dreams and shadows of the wars and of strife.

Much like the flame of a candle, bestowing light in which to see,
Enjoying my most favorite book, this bestows a calm mind upon me.

A Stream trickles happily, eroding away the sand,
Drifting it to far-off places, to create a new land.

A fisherman sits upon the bank, his basket full to the brim,
And this thing, it bestows a calm mind unto him.

A Boulder rolls against the wall, remaining strong and fast,
Waiting patiently in a glee, as the many years go past.

A miner, he plays with the small thing, fiddling with joy,
And a calm mind is what he gets, for finding a new toy.

The Spirit rests in obscurity, but guiding the body well,
It makes sure that through much prayer, it's owner shant go to Hell.

A priestess, she preserves the Spirit, the most faithful you could find,
And through her praying she receives in return..naught, but a calm mind.

The Writer, making sure..that his ink does not spill,
Writes what he wants, what is right, and whatever he does will.

Writing slowly, for the reading pleasure of all mankind,
He describes the Elements found in a truly Calm Mind.

Cheers.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Lanosian, in the year 131 MA.
