A Sonnet-Prayer of Merciless Light

Written by: Devereux, Elementalist

How lost are those who languish in the dark!
Their faces pallid without Her glory-
Blind to the fervent wonder of a Spark,
To the Dawn that breaks the dark ones' story!

Whatever form the darkling servants take,
We rise to battle, holy fires ablaze!
Til stars above and earth below will quake
To meet the sacred steel of Sunlight's gaze!

So too the churning Waters of the Deep
We join in song unceasing, ever bright-
Her Waters will become the tears you weep
When forced to face the servants of the Light!

So long as there exists one mote of Flame,
Then boundless will be those who cry Her name!

Penned by my hand on Gosday, the 20th of Chakros, in the year 16 AC.
