penned by the Siren, the Violinist, and Devereux

Lost one, fallen, silent and gone
Through us you shall see

Hear now our voices as they rise up in song
A host we shall be

The Paradise of Flame comes yet anon
And your spirit will soar in the Dawn

Yea, the Paradise of Ocean comes anon
And your spirit's reborn in the Dawn:

A bird, a bird of paradise
has fallen from the skies

in the city of Enorian
imperfect in Her peace

the Tide Witch sent her lanterns o'er-
-head, to curse and smite

those seeking Dawn and Paradise
the cease efk-washadiyb fasi

one thing to strike at the hateful light
as witches are wont to do

another to strike aal-lashaia, lashaia
a beauty to make the soul sigh

it changed my view as blood cannot
this death of rainbow hue:

a bird, a bird of paradise
has fallen from the skies

yea, a bird, a bird of paradise
has fallen from the skies:

you showed us all your freedom
as you soared above the Flame

a bird of rainbow plumage
and a bright resounding cry

we honor now your martyrdom
though we do not know your name.

you died, you died, in Enorian
imperfect in Her peace

the flawed ones mourn the witch's
cursed lanterns and their blight

foundations cracked and fair streets rent
asunder where she reaped;

and a bird, a bird of paradise
has fallen from the skies.

Penned by my hand on Falsday, the 17th of Chakros, in the year 16 AC.
