Skillpoint Modifiers
Hello folks,
As part of our efforts to stream line the newbie experience, I’ve gone through and removed a lot of skillpoint modifiers where they don’t necessarily make a lot of sense. Ideally once you get the skill through lessons, you should get what is on the tin. Most classes already work quite fine without skillpoint modifiers, so it’s probably reasonable to just simply make it the same for everyone.
On this note though, after these changes get a proper run in without too much issue, I will likely introduce some kind of scaling component to damage vs. other players based upon your level. Some aspects don’t scale nicely with low health pools, so we’ll need a little bit of scaling still.
There is still scaling vs. denizens through Hunting Might when it comes to bashing, so just keep that in mind when reading below.
Corpus / Ascendance / Extirpation

– Frenzy / Denounce / Trash damage no longer scales with skillpoints.
– Frenzy / Denounce / Trash now gets 30% stronger if the target has the ‘effused_blood’ affliction.
– Warding / Resolve / Persist no longer scales with skillpoints, the bonus resistance is just added on.
Crystalism

– Vibration duration is now just set to 1200 seconds, and no longer scales with skillpoints.
* Except for Retrogradation which remains hard set at 30 seconds.
Devotion / Apocalyptia

– Hands / Reinforce no longer scales with skillrank, the bonus healing is now just added on.
– Rite / Verse duration is now just set to 1000 seconds, and no longer scales with skillpoints.
* Except for Well-Being / Resolute which remains hard set at 3000 seconds.
Ferality
======================================
– Ferality attacks no longer scale with skillpoints, the bonus damage is now just added on.
* This may affect some trauma damage values slightly, I had to input the values in manually and perhaps made an error.
* So make sure to double check so that your trackers are working correctly.
Geometrics / Cultivation

– Crux / Sadness no longer scales with skillpoints, the bonus damage is now just added on.
– The same is true for Afterimage / Intrusion damage from Crux / Sadness.
Illumination / Tectonics

– Spark / Impurities resource maximum now scales with your constitution, instead of skillpoints.
– Infusion / Mould no longer scales with skillrank, the bonus healing is now just added on.
Necromancy / Oneiromancy

– Decay / Starlight damage no longer scales with skillpoints, the bonus damage is now just added on.
Sanguis / Discipline / Glamours

– The minion level from Raise / Recruit / Beguile no longer scales with skillpoints.
– Instead it is now equal to your level, with a minimum of 30 and a max of 90.
Sciomancy / Malediction

– Blast / Maledict no longer scales with skillpoints, the bonus damge is now just added on.
Sorcery / Runecarving
======================================
– Blurring / Ironbark no longer scales with skillpoints, the bonus resistance is now just added on.
Spirituality / Subjugation

– Angel power / Swarm fragment is now set to a max of 5000, and no longer scales to skillpoints.
Tarot / Hyalincuru

– Priestess / Flower no longer scales with skillrank when healing denizens, the bonus healing is just added on.
– Magician / Cube no longer scales with skillrank when healing denizens, the bonus healing is just added on.
Tekura

– Tekura attacks no longer scale with skillpoints, the bonus damage is now just added on.
* Not every value multipled nicely, so some damage may be slightly more or less.
