Circles of involvement

Digilant Warrior,
You have given up all your ability to affect the outcome of any Sentaari
enterprise with your sudden departure from our guild long ago.
I am quite surprised you posted anything about the guild, given the fact
you quite clearly made obvious your lack of concern with what happens to
the guild by leaving it, when it might have needed Monks with some of
your ideas about how things should work.
Fair enough you care about the ideals of the ideal Monk. Introspection,
perfection, and the search for self enlightenment. The classic goals of
the Monk. I do too. They have always been self evident, and not in
contention.
I also agree with your ideas on balance, and what it entails for us.
Throughout our history we have been trying to operate under the
misconception that balance is something external which we can effect in
a field greater than the limit of our own minds. Unfortunately with that
view, perception becomes everything, and we can all agree that everyone
perceives things differently. This can make decision hard to reach among
a leadership who still holds this view.
Being in the Sentaari today, I have noticed that yes, not all of us are
benevolent 100% of the time, we can lose our cool, and sometimes our
discipline can be less than exemplary. But at least we are sticking it
out, caring for our guild, and trying to make it work.
You served as secretary for a short time, and in that short time tried
to become Guildmaster. I do not begrudge you that, as you honestly
thought it was the best thing for the guild at the time. Things might be
different now if it were so, but it was not. However because of a little
hardship, and the loss of the election, you leave?
If you were truly dedicated, and cared to make the guild the best it
could be, you would never have left in the first place. And while it's
all very well to shout out tips from the side-lines, you could still be
helping us from on the playing field.
Your greatest honour would be to 'rebuild Sentaari honour', and return
as a leader in our guild? I'm afraid it doesn't work like that. Showing
that you didn't value the Guild enough not to stay, despite not 'at
peace being a Sentaari', pretty much shows an inability to work with
situations you don't like. Which is a common occurrance in any guild,
and especially for a Guildmaster.
Would you help to rebuild the honour of the guild from a non leadership
position? I hope the answer is yes, or your intentions are clear.
Not every player can be captain, and the others must play for the team,
not for themselves or it doesn't work.
