Why did Spirokai pick Ulangi?

Hello Hello to all the little boys and girls of Aetolia. I think this is
the third time in my whole life to post, so listen up.
Has anyone ever wondered 'Why does Spirokai pick Ulangi for a home?'
Well personally, I have and I finally figured out a good argument to
bring up. I asked our dear friend why, and he didn't answer. I'm just
suspecting the same as everyone, but I'll skip that portion of the post.
There is a decent solution to this rampant spread of exterminations by
just one person. We've had protection spells cast over the forest, we've
tried to hunt him, we've rejuvenated everything he destroyed, we even
worked harder to make all of the landmarks good. None of those are the
answer. If Spirokai simply wishes a home for his people, let's let him
have the Ruins south of Tasur'ke. It's not part of anyone's domain, it
has a sewer system, plenty of materials to rebuild the city or
rennovate, and only has the teeny problem of trolls and lizards. They
could be easily moved, because so far all they've been used for is
practice for the little ones.
If Spirokai was to move from Ulangi to the Ruins and have his people
just fix up the place, like he has been "fixing" the Island of Ulangi,
he would have everything that he has been asking for and it would stop
all this. Personally, I like watching fights, but when it starts coming
out of people's pockets because of this it gets me angry. So, people who
think about this question, 'Well, if there was that solution all the
time...why'd he pick Ulangi? That question was never answered!' I'm just
suspecting it was the need to exterminate to get essence which caused
strife and then the right to kill people. I may be wrong, and if I am,
tell me. The rest of my statements are something to think about though.
