Assassinations

Hello again

These are my thoughts on assassinations.
(This is also a warning to Magi who use portals when other people ask to
portal to someone else.)

I don't get it when people hire assassins, the assassin kills the
victim. The victim doesn't blame the assassin for the death, because he
was hired. Why should the assassin get blamed, they were only hired!

But, if a /Magi/ uses a sonicportal to bring the assassin to their
location to kill their victim, the victim almost ALWAYS blames the Mage
because of it. What I want to ask is, is this logic?

Example

A-person wants revenge for their murder that B-person commited.

A-person /pays/ C-person (Assassin) to kill B-person

C-person (Assassin) /pays/ or otherwise asks D-person (Mage) to send a
portal to B-person for them.

B person dies by the might of C-person (Assassin)

B person wants revenge, doesn't know who the hirer was exactly, but they
do know a Mage helped the Assassin because of the portal.

B-person does not blame C person (Assassin).B person blames D-person
(Mage).

Why is this exactly? Because B-person is more likely to be stronger than
the Mage? Because the Assassin is much harder to kill? Most likely,
after all, they just killed you.

Why?

Because Magi aren't a big threat to the realm, according to most. And
that's half true, the Magi are a very peaceful Guild, we don't involve
ourselves in as many fights or wars as other Guilds.

So in the end, most of you are a bunch of cowards that decide to put the
blame on the weaker enemy side. If you're going to blame someone for
your assassination, blame it on the Assassin as /well/ as the Mage if
there was indeed a portal involved, because they /both/ were hired and
asked for to kill you.
