Sapience,

Storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to convey ideas and shape the world around us. Stories have the ability to dispossess and to malign, but they also possess the transformative power to empower and humanize. They can be used to tear down the dignity of an entire people, or they can elevate and uplift them, igniting a cultural and spiritual renaissance. Stories are potent forces - they can inspire hope, instill fear, spark deep reflection, stir regret, and bring immense joy. They can challenge our beliefs, make us ponder the complexities of life, and illuminate pathways we never imagined possible. In their telling and retelling, stories shape legacies, forge connections, and invite us to see the world - and each other - with new eyes or greater understanding.

It is a Kelki tradition that during Slyphian - a month dedicated to the Mother of the Seas, the Dauntless - we come together to share and honor the stories of our kin. Rooted in ancient Kelki tradition, these gatherings start modestly and intimately, beginning with close friends and lovers, parents and children. Gradually, they expand to include extended families and broader circles of friendship, eventually building to their grand conclusion: the Tidemoot - a cherished, community-wide gathering of the Kelki people held within the ampitheatre on Libec Cay.

This year, the honor of convening the Tidemoot has been allocated to Her Siren, Yesufa Wisteria Button.

The theme she has selected is BEAUTY.

Further details will be forthcoming closer to the time for those that wish to attend.
