Strung and CoT

My words cannot convey my anger over Strung's last post, his actions,
his words, and his self-styled "authority". I think the time for
diplomacy is over, and it's time to make this stand. I am one of the
original members of the Citizens of Tasur'ke, as well as its Speaker,
authorized by the true Clanleader. Naturally, with the current state of
affairs, CoT may well deny that now. Strung has seen it fit to appoint
himself as leader, and for a time, I went with it, for he had some good
ideas and was not overstepping his bounds. However, having read his
latest post, I can say that although I approved some of the content
within it, most of it never went through any clan member. He has seen it
fit to declare the goals that he desires, not the original goals of the
clan or wishes of its remaining members still loyal to this clan's
owner. I do not agree with his rejection of our agendas, and I do not
agree that one who is a traitor to Shoimoro is one who should lead his
clan.

First off, his declaration of the "sole goal" of the clan's originals
cannot be right, for I recall myself and another who stands with me now
as both being original members, and both openly having more than just
the goal of protecting Tasur'ke. Also, many of our less prominent
members joined for reasons not being satisfied by this new agenda. It's
all very well for Strung to give his word on something, but he cannot
speak for a clan that he did not present his own plans to--they never
gave their word. Another thing we cannot forget is that there was a clan
even before this one, called the Harmonic Enclave, and Strung is totally
neglecting their interests here. They were the true originals,
proceeding even the originals of -this- clan. His unfairness towards
these people is unjust and unwarrented, and some have already expressed
their dismay and anger as they rightly should.

I'm not even going to go into the details in his post about cutting down
trees--refer to my last post for that. The next thing that strikes me as
ironic is the comment Strung makes about cutting from our ranks the
members in it for "selfish gain". This from a mercenary, a man who
admits he worked for Shoimoro for credits, and man who not only
abandoned us once after taking about 1000, but now is speaking ill of
his former employer in a public post while -still- a member of his clan.
Not only that, but Strung and some of his closer supporters once openly
admitted in a shop that they had used Shoimoro for credits and
artifacts. And now he accuses Shoimoro of using -him-? That sickens me.
Shoimoro never told me what I wanted to hear, he told me what I had to.
I am rather irate to see Shoimoro, one of the most altruistic people I
have ever known, made out to be selfish by one who desired only his
wealth, and then abandoned and insulted him with no remorse. Shoimoro
doesn't use people, Shoimoro helps people. Strung is being hypocritical,
considering what he did to Shoimoro, who -still- tried to tolerate him
even after that.

As one who is still loyal to Shoimoro and would not betray him even in
the event of his death, I will not tolerate following one who speaks
such things of him, and still expects to run -his- clan. This is not
what my rightful leader would want. Shoimoro never paid me and I never
wanted him to, because gold didn't buy me and never will. And no amount
of credits, threats, insults, pain, death, lack of support, or anything
else will ever convince me to follow a traitor to him and revoke my own
loyalty. Someone -was- put in charge of this clan ... and it isn't
Strung. In fact, Strung sees nothing better to do than to accuse and
insult that individual, who I hope will speak up, for Strung has no
right to treat him that way. I hope also that the former Harmonic
Enclave members will speak up for their rights, their dreams, which I
still share with them--Tasur'ke is our -home-. I do not support or
follow Strung Cardinalis, I denounce his un-approved reformations to our
clan, and I denounce him.

I just wanted to make my position clear, as I will not be associated
with this traitor as his follower. I apologize for the length of this
post.
