An address to Sapience.

Dear Aetolians,

Something silently rests in the souls of each of you, which makes us all
somewhat similar despite our obvious differences. We are all the same
people in many ways, yet our innate nature incites behaviors that draw
us apart.

The philosophies we revere may seem contradictory, but we all worship
the ideas our individual cultures consider estimable. Many of us live
distant from one another in foreign lands frigid or blistering, but we
all dwell here together on the continent of Sapience.

Your neighbor may be a friend to you and to his a stranger, but a
careful examination could reveal the unexpected kinship between the lot
of you.

And in this late winter, that inexpressible something stirs in the
hearts of all Aetolians, which enlivens memories of the best years of
our time here. Whether it may be welcomed or not...

Merry Celesmas to you all.

May your holiday be filled with happiness and a tolerant understanding
of your fellow Aetolians.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Severin, in the year 205 MA.
