Reuel and his definition of "innocent"

I'd like to quote Reuel when he defines innocent as "One who has not
harmed a sentient being for the sake of his or her own personal gain".

If this is the definition of innocent then I don't believe a single
person in this realm can honestly state that they are innocent of
anything. Anytime a novice takes a pixie's or an imp's life they lose
that innocence. Everytime someone goes to Dun and slaughters the orcs
and ogres they lose that innocence. Not a single person can honestly
claim that they have only killed the animals of this realm.

So basically maybe Enorian should get off of their high horse and stop
proclaiming themselves better than everyone else because they perceive
themselves as innocent, when in actuality they are not.

And you can't for one moment state that these slaughters weren't for
personal gain. You all did it to gain power. The same as you state that
all undead do. None of you are any more innocent than any undead is.
Look to yourselves for corruption, because that's where it lies the
most. I've seen more corruption come out of Enorian than I've seen
anywhere else. Even the name of your city was filled with corruption.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Niuran, in the year 189 MA.
