Addressed to: Everyone
Firstly, though none of these postings concern me, I felt, like everyone
else who has posted a response, to say what I think on the issues since
the parties involved chose to make them public.
On the issue of Dillon's repentance, I would like to commend you,
Dillon, on the new path that you have chosen. At this time, that is all
that matters, whether you decide to switch from this path eventually is
your prerogative, though I agree with the gods that respect for the
divine, is not a choice, rather a necessity.
To Keldrad: You complain of how much Dillon has hurt you, killed you and
your comrades, yet when he decides to make public his change of heart,
rather than letting him be, you start attacking him, though verbally. It
doesn't seem like a very wise thing to do. I understand from your post
that you do not wish to retaliate, albeit your emotions of distrust.
Maybe we look at life differently, but I would think that if Dillon
chooses to revert to his old lifestyle, that he would be inclined to
kill you again.
On the issue of Mersalis, and the Infernal's guild policy. I don't see
why you replied to Strung's post, Tarleich, because it didn't seem like
it needed one. Sorry Strung, I don't wish to reiterate your words, but I
would like to explain it for those that were unable to understand it, as
it seems there are some. What he said, essentially, was that should you
choose to hunt Mersalis because of your guild policy, he would have no
other options but to hunt your guild. That is unless you pay him 100k
every year, so that you may keep the right to use your swords.
Now, I can't understand why you would have such a policy, but I suppose
it makes sense to you, so, so be it. But, since this has to deal with
issues that concern credits that he had to have bought, in order to
become transcendant in those skills, I am inclined to think that your
guild policy is against some higher law, not only the laws of civility
towards others, if those still exist.
Goodbye
May your fate find you, and be with you always.
