Relentless Banter

Greetings Aetolians,

Once again this has turned into a "let's all jump on someone for their
flaws" issue, when it isn't. Desian while I really don't care what you
think about me nor do I care what anyone thinks about me. I am a
Sentinel and I will always be a Sentinel. And as a Sentinel I do what
needs be done.

As for the hunting of things. I am a Sentinel, a hunter...why should I
stop hunting prey because you think that I don't repect them. You see,
this is where you became flawed with your statements. I hunt in their
natural home, I don't force them into a cage and then into a pit where
others can watch and get their jollies off me hunting something. I hunt
in their natural habitat to give them the respect they deserve. The
respect that I give them when I offer them up to M'Lady as another sign
of respect. Putting 2 animals that might never meet in nature into the
same spot so that they will fight with no exits to flee is crude and
brutish. Hunting a prey that can flee and call for help or that can
defend itself isn't at all the same.

One last thing I want to point out. If a plant is left growing for too
long it becomes stagnant and not effective. We, along with the Druids,
tend the wilderness so that it thrives and grows stronger with future
generations. We tend to it as you would to a garden so that it
flourishes instead of becoming overgrown and unruly.

I have opened my mind to the understanding that the farmers do capture
the animals in the wilderness and as such it is there hunt that they are
allowed to do with as they see fit. I would just hope that when the
animals are done being pitted against themselves in this cruel fashion
that their corpses are at least used for furs or meat instead of just
tossed away for the wolves to feast on in the middle of the night.

While I do not agree with what the farmers are doing with the animals
they capture, in the sense of cruelty, I do however respect that it is
their prey. I know that I would not like someone taking my prey from me
when I worked so hard to hunt it and then someone to tell me that the
way I hunted them was wrong.

I do however humbly ask that if Spinesreach does see reason and a bit of
compassion for the animals being pitted against eachother, to ask the
farmers if there is anything else that would perhaps be more profitable
or that they use every bit of the animals that are slain in the pit so
that nothing goes to waste. If someone could please respond to me via
message or letter I would greatly appreciate it.

Very Truly Yours,
The Rampant Stallion, Storm's Fury
