Greetings Aetolians,

Well, I wasn't going to post on the newsboards again except for
something that Assag had stated in his post here.

To those of you who still harbor a jealous hatred of my success, I
implore you: Make good on your words! Come to my little pit of wonders
behind the Winterbreeze Inn, and show some resolve behind those fine
phrases you put to paper. I assure you, neither my boys nor I will be
made to change on account of a few brutes left behind the times.

left behind the times...if anyone here is left behind the times, it is
yourself and the members of the Spinesreach council that won't see that
change is acceptable. I gave a very very profitable solution to you and
the city itself, Assag. I proposed that you make the pit into a stadium
that will train and also have bets placed on the farmers that seek to
learn how to defend themselves.

apparently the city of scholars seeks no scholarly solution to this
issue that has been arisen. But as Assag has said...perhaps Spinesreach
should not be made to change on account of a few brutes, the pit and
it's owners, who are most definetly left behind the times when beasts
fought for excitement in pits.
