Enorian's Latest Attempt at Logic

Oh, dear me. I rise from my lovely coffin to find a deluge of bleating
and yawping in the public forum, from none other than the leadership of
Enorian. I must say, I at least find such feeble attempts at logic a
source of endless amusement. Enorian took Bloodloch to war because it
did not like Bloodloch behaving as Bloodloch was wont to behave,
although why anyone would be troubled by a gnat like modern Bloodloch, I
can't fathom. Bloodloch was bested on the battlefield and agreed to
terms of peace. I don't think these facts are in dispute by anyone, or
relevant to Enorian's latest bit of sophistry.

Enorian, through its Sultan, is attempting to tell Sapience that only it
has the authority and the power to judge what conduct is right and
proper. You, hebetudinous cattle, need not deign to attempt to tell
those enlightened rulers of Enorian whether or not they are behaving in
an appropriate manner, because Enorian can simply crush you under its
dung-encrusted bootheel should it so wish. This is something Enorian
knows only too well. The other cities of Sapience are either too
apathetic or too inept to stand up to the might of Enorian, and until
such a time as Enorian is shown the folly of its hubris, I'm afraid we
will have no choice but to accept their ascendancy.

On Sapience, might makes right. And until Sapience is, collectively,
mightier than that pack of unwashed, slack-jawed simians in Enorian, we
are at their "mercy."

Perhaps, one day in the distant future, Sapience will rouse itself from
its torpidity and realize what a threat Enorian has become to balance
and free will, but I imagine my cold, dead heart will flutter in my
chest before that happens.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Severin, in the year 172 MA.
