Wild creatures that roam among us

Greetings, citizens of Sapience,
Once again a tragedy has occurred that nobody seems to be bothered with
fixing, and I am beginning a campaign
for a more enlightened way of dealing with the creatures that sometimes
inexplicably appear in our midst.
Now, most wild creatures are concerned with one of a few things. They
are either hungry and looking for food,
in season and looking for a mate, or ready to die and looking for a
place. These are animals that come
among us, and they act as animals do. What is our first reaction? Shout
out "Who wants to come help kill it?"
This is all well and good for those beasts looking to die, but the
animals who are just looking for food or a mate
should not be discarded so easily. We kill off any chance of learning
about them because we act like scared children.
So, you might ask, what is the solution? In truth, there are times that
a beast HAS to be put down. Just like there are times a person has to be
killed. But
before we jump to that conclusion, we should invest our time and
abilities in other options. Sentinels and Druids,
you should understand what I am saying, that these poor creatures need
to be lured away from the populace, or evacuate the local population
briefly so that the
creature will get bored with the area an return to its home. Every guild
has skills that we use on each other and the creatures of the world
without
a second thought. But if we DO use our heads as something other than a
nifty place to put that helmet, we can create new avenues
of research and abilities. The Sentaari and Daru are telepaths. If we
can convince someone their arm is broken for no apparent reason,
convincing a squid to go back to the ocean shouldn't be a big deal.

Please, lets use these random events to better ourselves and our cities.
Let us not fall into the trap of exterminating
without examining all other possibilites first. If I suggested to you
that all potentially dangerous people should be hunted down
and killed, you'd call me a sick, twisted, maniacal murderer. But at
least people can make conscious thoughts. Animals
have to act on instinct, and we should remember that before we blindly
follow the next rallying cry of 'Who wants to come help kill it?"

I will be speaking with any Divine who wishes to see this problem
abated, and would like to speak with any mortal,
or undead, citizen who would like to see us grow as a community by using
our heads rather than our weapons.

Thank you,
