Father,
I do not know if you can read this post where you are now but if you
can...
I am disappointed I missed your departure, I missed my chance to give
you the items I collected for your journey, so with the help of two
hawks from the Heartwood, I have dispatched to you gifts that will help
you on your journey.
First, a hand carved spear I made, may it keep you safe and help you
hunt even the strongest of prey.
I have also sent you armor that I crafted from the pelt of the lion,
that dwells in Hunting Ground, may it keep you warm and protect you from
even the most fierce of predators.
And last but not least, the antlers of the Golden Stag. May these guide
you home safely to the hunting grounds if you decide to return to us
some day.

Caspien, you are a courageous hunter and you shall be missed deeply by
all your family and friends.
Ailim, my loyal friend!
Ailim, my devoted father!
I wish you only the best on your journey.
I hope one day we shall both hunt together in Our Lord's Hunting
Grounds.
Until then may Lord Haern guide you

Your son,
Talinon Dai'lien

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Severin, in the year 154 MA.
