Greetings.

I have a thought to pose to you. You speak of friends, and allies, and
'true' friends, and who isn't one. You spent your life as protector of
the forests, a defender of the innocent plantlife, and in retaliation
for the acts of someone else, you attacked the very thing you used to
defend and call your ally. You then got mad at your friends for acting
on their true loyalties, the ones they pledged would come before all
others. You were upset because your friends did exactly as they said.
Did you not believe them? Would they really be good friends had they
gone back on their word as you did? I swore to my family that should it
betray my guild, I'd kill it. And I have, and I would. I think I've
gotten their love more from that than from being blood-related. Sit and
ponder that. A person who swears false loyalties is not one I'd have as
my 'friend'.
