Ugh.

How you can speak of others as 'murderers of Sapience', I am appaled.
Sapience is its wilderness, cities, roads, underground, and skies. By
bringing down an inferno upon the forests, you are murdering the rich
heart of Sapience, clogging our air with smoke, and besmirching the
lands.

Think not for a moment I cannot empathize with you. I as a forestal have
been enemied to Duiran before, and stripped of my abilities to share
Nature's bounty, as Brunneng so artfully puts it. But to retaliate
against the forests themselves, when they have not done a thing, is
truly like killing infants to get to their parents. Oh, what rampant,
idiotic cruelty. When I was enemied, I struck at Duiran, but never at
the forests. I suggest you do the same. Those that enemied you must pay
for what they have done, but YOU, you will pay for anything you to to my
forests.

I have loved you as a guildmate, a family member, and a friend. But you
sever everything with your decisions. Those that follow you into this
foray, into this senseless, wanton destruction are not your friends and
allies - they have a vested interest in killing, not in supporting you.
I would have gone to Duiran and argued your cause should you have asked,
I would have protected your name with the strength of my own word and
decree. Why you would give up so much to wallow in this rage is
unthinkable. I urge you to ruminate -lengthily- on what you have
decided.

With apprehension and shame, I remain
Very truly yours,

-High Prince of Ulangi, Lord Nightshadow Thalion-Ryokus

Penned by my hand on the 16th of Variach, in the year 154 MA.
