Given that they defined membership in the RL as those who belonged to
those clan, I suggest you go about trying to become the patron of
Ashtan. Apparently, there is a loophole in this treaty of which no one
has a copy, whereas I can be both Patron *and* a former member of the RL
clan. I think the offer only applies to those born on an odd numbered
day and who actively support mhun rights, though I think those can be
waived.

Or, maybe you could just try a fake moustache? I often travel around
Sapience disguised only with a handlebar moustache and no one ever
recognizes Me or My former sordid associations.
